The 50 cc four-stroke engine feeds power through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, great for learning and playing. Tue, 13 Oct 2009Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

The pair, from Seattle, became an internet sensation last year when they created a hyperbole-packed ad for $700-worth of frankly rubbish 1995 Pontiac Grand-Am. Now they’ve pulled the same trick to get rid of a Y2K Yamaha SH50 (the comically-named ‘Razz’), advertising it on Cragslist as “the fulfilment of your wildest fantasies”.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
