Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity

The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
