Yamaha Other description
1989 YAMAHA FJ1200 EXCELLENT CONDITION! For 25 years this bike has been taken
care of by owners who Took pride in owning one of the best
motorcycles ever produced. This is a great example of how
perfect these bikes were. This 1989 FJ1200 is in Excellent Condition
throughout. It only has 25K original miles and is always well maintained.
Everything works. No issues. I would say the only thing to note is it will need
new tires next spring although they just passed inspection through July 2017. New clutch in July 2016. Bottom end carb rebuild June 2016. It has a pair of Supertrapp Silencers
which add a nice low growl and makes it perform better. I have installed an 8
pc. blue LED light package which really makes it stand out in a crowd. I hate to part with it but I have a
very sick dog that is racking up vet bills as I type this so I don’t really
have a choice. I am putting a low starting bid to ensure it sells. Buyer must pick up locally or make
arrangements for shipping at their expense. Clean PA title and valid 7/17
Inspection. |

Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).
You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
Ienatsch, Hill, Russell, Bestwick To Give Speech At Yale Today
Thu, 30 Jan 2014In what might be considered the most shocking news of 2014 so far, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill are going to Yale. While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today. When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable. Each has had their fair share of success aboard motorcycles, and they will be joined by two more champions on two-wheels, five-time Daytona 200 winner and 1993 World Superbike Champion Scott Russell, and Jamie Bestwick, an avid motorcyclist and winner of eight consecutive X-Games BMX Vert gold medals.
