Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
1975 Yamaha 250 Enduro Stored Since 1980 Selling my father's 250 Enduro that he purchased new in 1976 and rode until 1980. After that it was put in his basement and stored, a "time capsule" bike by all means. Everything is original and in good condition. There is one dent in the tank, which is pictured, which came from a pop fly over the backstop at a ball game. The seat is in good condition, there is some flaking paint and rust on the fender and the chrome wheels from storage. The motor has good compression but has not been serviced or started since it was taken from storage in October. Bike comes with a clear transferable PA title. Great cycle for a collector or someone who wants a vintage rider. * Can arrange transport for a reasonable rate to points between PA & central FL if purchased prior to 12/24. * |

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America
Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
Pipewerx's new Slash Cut slip-ons
Fri, 16 Sep 2011Pipe Werx, the British performance motorcycle exhaust company, has added a new product to its range – the Slash Cut Trim. Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
