Yamaha Other description

 1971 Yamaha R5B 350 cc 2-stroke street bike. Carbs just gone through, all fuel and oil lines replaced, new battery, petcock gone through, gas and oil tanks cleaned, chain and tires in excellent condition, all lights and turn signals functional, no tears in seat. Does have cracks in rear fender where license plate mount bolt goes through. Gas tank has typical wear on a 45 year old bike. Does have proper right side cover now, not shown in pics. Clear title. Bike is listed locally and this listing may be pulled at anytime.

Saturday morning was a stonker wasn’t it? A group of us ranging from neighbours, brothers, mates and girlfriends got up and headed down to the coast for a spot of bacon and eggs. We had a real diverse selection or bikes actually with a GSX1400, XJR1300, Triumph Speedmaster, MT01, A Yamaha R1 and my Triumph Speed Triple.

The last time we checked up on James Stewart, he wasn’t having a good year. First, there was the season-ending injury in the second round of the 2010 AMA Supercross campaign, an ill-advised comeback at the Unadilla National, and then a much-panned open letter after getting left off Team USA for the Motocross of Nations. In all, Stewart took part in just three races in 2010.

New AMA Pro SuperBike Final Qualifying Procedure To Be Implemented At Road America

AMA Pro Racing is taking a page out of the playbook of the top racing series’ in the world and changing the qualifying format for AMA Pro SuperBike and breaking it up into three stages. This new format will debut later this month when AMA Pro Road Racing takes to the 4.05-mile track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader on May 30 – June 1, 2014. All AMA Pro SuperBike competitors will participate in Qualifying 1 and 2.
