Selling my nicely modded 2012 Yamaha FZ1 with only 2200 miles on her. I have recently developed some health issues which makes it very painful to ride motorcycles at all. I purchased this bike brand new and have put some nice mods on her. Those include... Scorpion Carbon fiber slip on exhaust, the handlebar mod, Graves frame sliders, double bubble windscreen, roll-a-click adjustable levers, and more. This bike is still virtually new and comes with the Yamaha Extended Service (YES) warranty with 2 years left on it. If you have any questions please call 317-209-7668. Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.
Yamaha Reveals PES1 and PED1 Electric Prototypes
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Yamaha is bringing two new electric motorcycle prototypes to the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show: the PES1 streetbike and the PED1 dirt bike. The nomenclature is a combination of the initials for Passion, Electric and Street for the street version and Dirt for the off-road model. Both prototypes are equipped with DC brushless electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries.
Lorenzo Crashes in Practice Again; This Time He’ll Skip the Race
Fri, 12 Jul 2013Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo has suffered another high-speed crash during free practice ahead of the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring. Lorenzo had a similar crash during practice in the previous round at Assen, but still lined up on the grid to race, finishing fifth despite breaking his collarbone in three places in the accident. This time, however, the Yamaha rider decided to withdraw from the race.
