2015 Yamaha FJ09 w/ ABS + Traction Control I buy at least 1 new bike every season, sometimes 2 new bikes in a season. There is nothing wrong with this bike. The bike has never been dropped, down, or damaged in any way. There is not a single imperfection on it. This bike is extremely comfortable with 2 seat height positions to choose from. This new Yamaha 3 cylinder engine is phenomenal. It is extremely powerful and massive torque is available from idle. The bike includes important safety features to protect you like 3 ride modes, ABS and Traction Control. Turn off the traction control and the front wheel will lift with ease. The bike is stock. First oil change already completed. I purchased the bike in January 2016 and I am the first and only owner. The bike is under factory warranty until 01/09/2017. Title is available same day payment is made. I have already purchased my next bike so this one is ready to go. There is no reserve so the highest bidder will own it. Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012
Tue, 11 Oct 2011The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
Yamaha Teases New Naked Model for EICMA – Video
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Earlier this year, Yamaha started a teaser campaign called “Dark Side of Japan” that culminated in the introduction this summer of the FZ-09 naked Triple (also known as the MT-09 in other markets). It’s now fall, but apparently Yamaha has more hiding in the Dark Side, in another new naked motorcycle. Yamaha has released another new teaser video called “Rise Up” for a new model to be unveiled Nov.
2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
