Very nice DT250B for sale. The following items have been done to the bike over the past couple of years.

The oil injection pump was rebuilt by "Deet" the master from the Vintage Yamaha Forum
Seat pan was professionally restored and has new foam and seat cover
Voltage regulator installed
New OEM head light bulb
Gas tank is clean and has not been sealed
New OEM intake manifold
Boyesen reed valve
Yamaha tool kit
Frame has been powder coated
Fuel tank and oil tank professionally painted with decals clear coated
The only thing not original on the bike is the handlebars and the bike doesn't have turn signals


Clear title
Buyer must arrange transport
Local pickup is fine

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Yamaha Reports 2011 Results

Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
