YAMAHA XS650 BOBBER REAR BRAKE ONLY CAN EASILY BE SET UP WITH FRONT BRAKE. THE SETUP ON THIS BIKE WILL SUIT SOMEONE UNDER 6 FT TALL,  IF FORWARD CONTROLS WERE USED SOMEONE OVER 6 FT WOULD FIT MORE COMFORTABLY.  THIS BIKE IS NICE BUT IT WAS BUILT TO RIDE AND IS NOT A SHOW BIKE.  IT HAS VERY NICE BLACK AND GOLD LACE PAINT. I HAVE PUT ON ABOUT 700 MILES SINCE I COMPLETED THE BIKE.  IT HAS A CLEAN TITLE, TITLED AS A 2015 ASVE XS650 (MONTANA SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION TITLE). THE ENGINE WAS ORIGINALLY OUT OF A 73-74 BIKE.

Hayes Wins 2012 AMA Superbike Championship with Record 14th Win

Monster Energy Graves Yamaha‘s Josh Hayes has clinched his third consecutive AMA Superbike title with his record 14th win of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The win in the second race of the Miami round was the 31st of Hayes’ career. It followed a rare misstep in Race One which saw Hayes crashing after clipping a curb on the third lap.

The 2013 AMA Pro Superbike has just wrapped up its season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Josh Hayes dominating the race and his teammate, Josh Herrin, finishing second to clinch his first AMA Superbike championship. Not long after the checkered flag waved did Yamaha announce some big changes for the upcoming 2014 season. First and foremost, Herrin will be departing for Moto2 next year, fulfilling his desire to compete on the world stage.

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
