Victory VISION 8-BALL ALL BLACK description

Just in time for Great Fall Riding Weather!

Hi, You are bidding on a 2010 Victory Vision 8-Ball All Black with tons of extras.  106 Cubic Inch Freedom V-Twin, with Fuel Injection and a 6 speed integrated transmission.  Arlen Ness Big and Little Sucker Performance Air Filters for more flow.  Power Commander V with Dynojet Autotune AT-300 for the Power Commander V with two Bosch Multi-Frequency Lambda Oxygen Sensors that continuously tunes the Power Commander for optimal efficiency on each cylinder as you ride. Ultra Reliable, starts right up every time.  Late model stator, rotor, and voltage regulator.  Atom Bomb/Straight Thrush Mufflers are installed on the bike.  It's pretty loud when you get on it and acceptable around town at lower rpm's.  The cats are still installed in the headers for smog inspection, etc...  I'm not totally happy with the heat shields over the mufflers - previous owner put them on - I figure you'll want to do your own thing on the mufflers/shields/tips, etc... so, I left them as they came to me.  Definitely healthy tone and free-flowing.  This is a managable bad boy bike that turns heads.  You'll get questions every time you stop for gas.

Front tire is a 90 percent Bridgestone Exedra 130/70/R18 63H and the rear tire is a "Darkside" Good Year Assurance 195/55/R16 High Miler Radial tire that lasts 3 - 5 times longer than a regular motorcycle tire.  Excellent for long-distance riding.  You save lots of money, too.  The bike has a his and hers heated seat, electric power window elevator - 6 inches in each direction for air flow control as you ride.  Up and down rocker switch is located on the left side switch cube, next to the Kuryakyn Soft Grips.  I have an optional black Vision Tour Pack Trunk with the queen's backrest if you want to make the bike a two-up touring bike.

This 8-Ball has an adjustable lowering link and shortened side stand to match the lower height.  The rear air shock has been lowered approximately 1 inch in addition to the lowered link for a balanced rear weight distribution/smoother ride.  The front forks are lowered .6 inch and can go lower depending on the handlebars you use.  Overall, this makes the bike more manageable at low speeds and it is easier to mount and dismount, etc...  The bike feels about 200 pounds lighter when it's lowered.  It also has adjustable front footrest skid plates to let you know your lean angle.

I rebuild and customize insurance salvage Visions periodically and this is one of my projects.  The bike comes with a Nevada Rebuilt Title and has been safety inspected by a state certified inspection shop and the VIN has been inspected by the Nevada State DMV inspector.  The bike passes with flying colors.  This 8-Ball has 28k miles on it and has the normal small scratches that go with it's age.  The bike runs great, tracks straight, no issues.  It was damaged in the rear plastics, no front end damage at all.  I replaced all the damaged parts.  I put on all new brake pads front and rear and greased the caliper slider pins, etc... brakes are excellent.  The bike has a new battery and new oil and filter.  Turnkey, ready to go.  Not a wrecked bike that "needs a little TLC".  Have your cash ready and be ready to ride.  Title in hand. This bike is for sale locally in the Reno area, and I will end the sale if it sells before the auction ends.

This is a CASH ONLY SALE.  No Reserve Auction - high bidder gets this cool bike.  A $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal or cash within 24 hours of the sale closing.  Full Cash Payment in person or via Bank Wire Transfer is due within 7 days from the close of this auction.  I don't take checks of any kind. I do not take monthly payments.  I do not take any trades.  This bike is sold without any warrantee whatsoever.  This bike is sold "as-is, where-is", buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of the vehicle and all costs associated with the vehicle after the sale closes.  Please have your cash ready before you bid on this bike.  Thanks for understanding.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have via ebay email.  I can work with your shipper and get the bike safely and securely loaded onto your shipper's conveyance.

Thanks for reading and Good Luck!

A New Bobber From Victory?

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.

How to solve the mystery of the wildcard replacement

Wed, 30 Jun 2010

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
