Victory V92C description
This is a very nice clean presentable 2000 Victory, the chrome looks great and the bike has alot of extras. It has forward controls, extra lights up front, saddle bags, crash bars, a clock, a cup holder and some other nice touches.
I did purchase this bike wholesale from a large dealer, they took the bike in trade a few years ago, they never put it for sale and it got lost in the back room. I got it, charged the battery and changed the gas and she fired right up. It will probably need a new battery, but since this is fall in New England i didn't see the point til the spring. I did ride her around the block and she runs fine and shifts through all the gears. I purchased her cheap, and thought i would give it one quick chance on ebay, with a very fair reserve. If I keep it til the spring I will clean it better, change all the fluids, put in a new battery and ask $4500 on a sunny day in April. The odometer shows 2754 miles, the bike looks very clean doesnt look wrecked, and no real wear and tear, so while low is believable. I do have a duplicate title that comes with the bike that shows 6089 miles. The dealer got a new title ordered in August, and since the battery was dead, I think they took there best guess. So its a low mileage bike with somewhere between 2754 an 6089 miles. If you are local come take a look. |

Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
