Victory V92 description

Up for sale is my 1999 Victory V92.  This bike is a real gem and it pains me to have to let it go. I am the 2nd owner and know the first owner well so the bike history is solid.  We both have babied this bike since it was purchased new.  Bike comes with a lot of accessories to include added chrome pieces, Victory Stage 1 Kit ( K/N Filter, Exhaust and remapping), Victory Sissy Bar, Victory Saddle Bags and Liners and Luggage Rack to name a few.  Recently has had the oil changed and has been ridden daily with weather permitting.  An additional set of mirrors and helmet are included.

This vehicle has been problem free and shows little signs of wear as documented in the photos.

So why am I selling?  Vehicle has begun to slip in 3rd gear and I just don't have time to begin a repair.  This is a common problem with this year of the Victory and can be fixed by a Victory dealer.  Repair costs vary as I have found.

Vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty but has a clean title.  Price of vehicle reflects the mentioned issues as well as the overall excellent condition, history and care.

I will assist with delivery, locally, as it still runs flawlessly with the exception of the occasional slip shifting from 2nd to 3rd under high RPMs or it can be picked up.

The first Victory model was the V92C. Production began in 1998, and the first official model year was 1999. At 92 cu. in. (1,510 cc), the V92C was the largest production engine available at the time, and sparked a race among motorcycle manufacturers to build bigger and bigger engines.

The original V92C engine produced 55 hp (41 kW) at the wheel, with high-performance cams and pistons. Horsepower was often boosted to 83 hp and torque to 86 ft. lbs. by aftermarket parts. The V92C weighed approximately 650 lb (290 kg).

VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD LOCALLY AND MAY CAUSE THE REMOVAL OF THE LISTING AT ANY TIME.

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.
