Triumph Trident description

This is a one owner factory original motorcycle with 3715 documented Arizona Desert miles. It has never had any mechanical repairs or paint work and still has the original Manufacturer Federal Standards Safety Sticker on the front right side of the frame . It does have an electronic ignition and the battery was removed. I believe it is fair to classify this Trident as a Survivor still retaining its original tires, fuel lines, all rubber components, etc. The pictures speak to the condition of this bike, an awesome original. Please note the dents in the left muffler, pea sized dent in the top of the gas tank, and a seat repair. I have a used factory original seat, in excellent condition, that goes with the bike. The hydraulic brake system would need servicing to make the bike road worthy. It has been stored in a climate controlled environment since 1985.

There is a clear Arizona title that goes with the bike and will be provided after all funds have cleared the buyers bank. The seller requires a $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of the auction ending with the balance received by EFT or cashier's check in seven days. The bike is currently being stored in South Carolina. The buyer is responsible for the shipping. Seller will assist with the coordination of the transport at the buyer's request.

Please call me if you plan to bid and your positive feedback is less than 10. In fairness to all bidders, I will not end the auction early.

Feel free to call or text for any additional information. 913 904 2848

Triumph Thunderbird Commander World Press Intro – We Are There!

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

Triumph’s new Thunderbird Commander and Thunderbird LT are being introduced to the world’s media this week in San Diego, California. MO’s Associate Editor and FNG, Evans Brasfield, is on the scene and ready to test the latest versions of Triumph’s big cruiser, now with a new frame. The Commander sports a tougher image than the regular Thunderbird, boasting dual bug-eye headlights and a beefy 47mm Showa fork holding a fat 140/75-17 tire.

Tested: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Fri, 17 Jun 2011

Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.

Another bikes vs. car drift battle

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Icon have just released a sequel to last year's popular drift video that featured Nick Brocha on a stretched ZX10 racing alongside a Corvette-Powered RX7.  Upping the stakes this time, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil, both onboard Triumph Speed Triples that have been built for the sole purpose of moving forward, but sideways. Taking up the rear is a supercharged 550hp Ford Mustang Cobra, quite apt really seeing how the film ends. Like the recent Jorian Ponomareff 'Drift Gymkhana', its great to see another video that does justice to the talent on show.
