Triumph Trident description

By all accounts, 1973 was the best year for the Trident with a five speed gear box.  This is a beautiful bike.  The fuel tank was recently repainted to factory spec (black and red).  I put on a new cafe seat from Burton Bike Bits in the UK and also installed new electronic ignition from Pazon which also included the proper new coils.  Tires are good.  Bike is all original with matching numbers and I have the original seat and old ignition parts.  It is tagged in Delaware until 7/17.

Wed, 14 Apr 2010

We don’t get the manuals with our long term bikes and I didn’t want swallow my pride and ask triumph how to adjust the chain on the Speed Triple. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. The single side swing arm with centrally mounted disk is a work of art but how the hell you are supposed to adjust the thing?

Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

POW! 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 Wallpaper

Tue, 23 Dec 2008

In a recent Motorcycle.com Review, Tor Sagen took to Circuito de Cartagena [map] race-track on the 2009 Triumph Daytona 675. Photog’s Jason Critchell and Paul Barshon caught the action as Tor rocketed the machine around 3.506 km (2.179* Miles) of track. Luckily for us, some awesome shots were caught in the process.
