This past weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival, Triumph took the wraps off a special edition Thruxton that was created with the famed Ace Café London. Harkening back to one of the lynchpins of the British café racer movement of the 1960s, the Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition molds the profile of the classic Triumph racer of the era to the thoroughly modern Thruxton. Pro Singles Flat Tracker Shayna Texter Moves To GNC

The first female to win an AMA Pro Singles main event, Shayna Texter, is graduating to the premier Grand National Championship class aboard Latus Motors Racing’s Castrol Triumph. In 2011 Texter won the Pro Singles main event at Knoxville Raceway to become the first female to win an AMA Pro Singles main event. Last year Texter won two AMA Pro Singles main events on her way to placing fourth in the Pro Singles championship. She also swept the two Basic Twins main events at Springfield.

2013 Triumph Trophy Spy Photos

Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.
