Triumph Tiger description
This is a numbers matching, fully restored, 1968 TR6R.For the restoration the motorcycle was torn completely apart. The motor was completely rebuilt; any bearings, chains, seals and other parts that needed to be replaced were, as well as all new gaskets and seals. All of the parts on the bike that are black were powered coated, and the tank and fenders are the proper blue and silver colors. All of the fasteners and certain brackets were replated. All of the chrome pieces on the motorcycle were ether re-chromed or replaced with UK parts. I have more photos available if you want to see something in particular. Rockerbox Motofest Moves To Road America
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.

Riding round the north of Scotland
Mon, 20 Aug 2012I’m ashamed to say that until last week, I had no idea what incredible roads and scenery the North West of Scotland had to offer. Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
