Triumph TIGER CUB description

If you have negative feeback, little to no feedback, no recent ebay activity, or are from another country please contact me prior to bidding. Failure to do so may result in your bid being cancelled. It takes time and money to list on ebay and I want everything to go smoothly for all parties involved. This is a Bill of Sale only bike. There is no title.  Any questions email me here or call Ray at 615-973-5790. Thank you

This is a running riding Triumph Tiger Cub trials bike. I am selling it as a running riding project. It starts up and moves under its own power. The bike was owned by a good friend that recently passed. I am selling this to help his wife in her time of need. I have seen him ride the bike in AHRMA competition in the past, but it has been a few years. The bike fired up easily after being in storage. It will need a good once over prior to its next competition. It was smoking when I started it last and may need a set of rings. There were also a few oil drips that willl need to be addressed . Shouldnt need anything major but I dont have time to devote to going over it and checking it out so Im selling it as a project. The motor is a T20M square barrel motor with the good bottom end. The gas tank is aluminum . The front forks are Ceriani and the front wheel appears to be Bultaco or something similar. There is no title and it is not a matching numbers motor and frame.

This seems to be a good bike needs little to just ride and have fun. Im selling the bike no reserve. The high bidder at the end gets it. That being said it is a 49 year old bike and comes with no guarantees/ warranties expressed or implied. A local inspection is welcomed and recommended prior to bidding. Payment is due via cashiers check, bank wire, or cash in person. All funds must clear my bank before the bike will be released. The bike must be paid for in full within 5 days of the acutions end and a $500 non refundable deposit is due within 12 hours. Arrangement for the remainder need to be handled within the 12 hours as well. The bike must be picked up within 3 weeks of auctions end or storage fees will apply Ive tried to take plenty of pictures to show the true condition of the bike. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding as I want no surprises on either end. Thanks

Enigma Variations

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Remember the Enigma Triumph being built by a collective of British engineeers and specialists? Just been dropped a note by the bike's owner - know on these parts as JimLin. Inexplicaby, for a journalist's 'project', things still appear to be moving ahead at a healthy velocity.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
