Triumph Speed Triple description

2006 Triumph Speed Triple 1050, black, 12,825 miles, located in Ashland, Kentucky 41101.

Clean and clear KY title in my name, ready to go. I purchased this from the original owner at 5500 or so miles. No mechanical issues, runs well. A few light scratches here and there, and scuff on left side bar end. No other cosmetic issues. Not very noticeable, but worth mentioning.

I've only needed to do oil and filter changes (Mobil 1) and put a good battery in last year. Very reliable, took it to New Orleans & Florida last fall, and Chicago a few weeks ago. Most miles are highway.

Only selling because I've got another bike and don't want to haul this with me when I move in a few weeks.

Fly in and ride out. Will help with shipping on my end.

Can include a Touratech luggage set up (racks & panniers) for an addition $800.

Please contact me with any questions, or to schedule a viewing.
Test rides with cash in hand only.

How well does a Triumph Tiger 800 crash?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've just come back to the hotel after our first day riding the Tiger 800 with the other Brit journos. One of the journos (who shall remain nameless, but alas, it wasn't me) crashed at low speed. Pictured here is his bike.

Triumph’s Wheel Bearing Recall Spreads to US for 2011-2012 Daytona 675, Street Triple and 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Earlier this week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for unapproved wheel bearings for the 2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 sportbike and its naked sibling the Street Triple. As expected, a similar recall has now been announced for the U.S., adding the Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm cruisers to the campaign. The recall also affects the 2011-2012 Triumph Street Triple R but the Daytona 675R is not included in the recall.
