The 955i is the most powerful motor i've ridden and i love it! i've had 3 triumphs (speed triples and sprint rs). powder coated engine is fantastic for all weather conditions. i can't say enough about the handling and positioning of this bike. it is equally comfortable carving up curvy roads as it is on long highway trips. the saddle is tall. i'm 5'10" and i can stand flat footed at the bottom of the seat but not at the top of the seat. i mostly ride toward the top on highway and bottom around town so it works well for me. i am including a heated vest and an OEM aftermarket carbon fiber pipe with this auction. some minor stuff - rub mark on left tank by the knee, small chip in paint (pictures), stock pipe is scratched, right bar-end mirror scratched. bike has never been dropped or in an accident. it could use a good cleaning but overall condition is excellent. i bought the bike with the carbon fiber exhaust but i don't like loud pipes so i bought the stock pipe on ebay. there is a hepco-becker top box and luggage rack attached - top box is easily removed. the box has some damage because it fell off the bike once (user error). other aftermarket parts include fly screen and rear tire hugger. tank bag not included. Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
