Triumph Scrambler description

You are bidding on a used 2007 Triumph Scrambler. In 2007 the scramblers had carburetors vs fuel injection - so if you want fuel injection this isn't your bike. I am the original owner. Here is the story on the bike: When I purchased it new back in 2007 I immediately started modifying it. Some small and some huge. In fact the mods alone ended up totally more than the original cost of the bike. I was never really looking to increase it's value...I really was just having fun with it.

Here are some of the add ons that I remember ( I'm sure there are more):
  • SUN Rims and Spokes from Buchanan's - $529.00
  •  Keihin FCR 39 Flat Slides Racing Carbs – $1,489.00
  • YSS RG362TRCL Twin Shocks, 340mm 17-25 - $768.99
  • ZARD Racing Exhaust – $1,100
  • Brembo 4-piston Front Brake Kit, Black Caliper and Rotor - $824.99
  • Headlamp Grill – $79.00
  • Skid Plat - $120.00
  • Engine Dresser Bar - $170.00
  • Nology Hotwires and Pro Fire Coils - $225.00
  • Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Hose Kit - $119.99
  • Superbrace Fork Brace in black - $268.99
  • Hyperpro Thruxton Fork Springs (bellacorse) - $139.99
  • NARK - airbox removal kit with K/N filters - $299.00
  • Complete Running Lights Kit —$249.00
  • Idiot Light LED Conversion Kit – $22.00
  • Superbrace Fork Brace in black - $268.99
  • Air Injection removal kit – $17.00
  • White OEM flyscreen – $280
  • 19 Tooth front sprocket – $20.00
  • Black Slammer Seat by British Customs – $369.00
  • British Customs Direct Mount Reservoir — $109.00
  • New tires with under 500 miles
So you can see I got a little crazy over the years — but I enjoyed the process of tuning and modifying it into something a bit more custom.

Some important things you should know:
  • It goes like a bat out of hell. Seriously. 1st and 2nd gear pulls like a 1200. So much fun.
  • It has racing carbs. That can be a good thing or a bad thing..depending on how involved you like to be with your bike. You will undoubtedly have to adjust them to the climate where you live. Racing carbs require tweaking the jets occasionally. I personally enjoy that about the bike. You can tweak it to suit you.
  • The bike has never been in an accident but it has been knocked over several times. I live in NYC and any biker here will tell you that cars regularly tap your parked bike and send it over on its side. It has the bar end scratches to prove it.
  • A small dent in the tank. Really more of a compression then a dent. Only in certain light you can see it. I tried to take a picture but didn't really show.
I'll hate to see this go but for the last 3-4 years I've put maybe put 25 miles on it. It's been sitting in my garage in Westhampton (on a battery charger). I'm ready to pass the torch on to someone else. Hoping the next person has as much fun as I did.

Bike located in Westhampton Beach NY. Local pickup only.
