2015 TRIUMPH ROCKET III X LIMITED EDITION #79 / 500 This Rocket is a recent bank repossession. This bike is the low production X edition. Only 500 were built and this is #79. The bike only has 1K miles and is still under warranty until May 2017. The bike is completely stock except for the rear pillion. With only 1K miles the bike is like new. The tires and brakes are in great shape and all the gauges, horn and lights work perfectly. The only mark on the bike is a rub mark on the right exhaust muffler. (see picture) I have taken this bike on a reliability run and the engine, clutch and gearbox all work and sound as they should. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s. I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.
