    1971 Triumph Bonneville T120R 649cc /40.0ci air cooled OHV vertical twin with oil in frame. This is not a factory bike with matching numbers. This was built in 2013 using an original 71' frame and 71' motor. The entire bike was gone through with detail and built to factory specifications with mostly new old stock or rebuilt parts.  The engine is a complete top to bottom rebuild completed by Trident Motorcycle Repair in 2013. I purchased the bike from the shop owner. I am the only owner after the build and have a clean and clear title for the bike showing only 00034 miles on it when I purchased it. It was last serviced after a 200 mile engine break in.

    1971 Triumph Bonneville Some extra chrome work , polished brake hubs, aluminum rims comes with another set of fenders, manuals, cover and an extra tank that is not correct for this year bike. I think the extra tank is for an early 80's Bonneville. Runs great, does have a slight oil leak at the front rocker box.

        Great opportunity to own a piece of classic motorcycle history with this 1971 Triumph Bonneville T120R 650cc.  This bike is in great condition by any means, but especially for '71.  This bike has been a joy to own and ride over the years, never failing each time i took her out to get plenty of looks/comments/and questions.  This bike is a definite head turner when driving around town. Not too long ago I had the bike completely rewired with harness and all.  I also added a side kickstand in addition to the undercarriage stand which adds great convenience for fast easy parking anywhere.   This classic bike is sure to put a smile on anyone's face for miles ahead.

     1971 Triumph none matching numbers.It has a 1966 T120 motor with makuni carbs and boyer ignition. The motor was rebuilt in 1992 by RPM in San Jose CA, over 3,000 invested in the motor,the motor was in storage for years,so it has little to no miles.I did ride it around the block yesterday,and I do start it from time to time. All the wiring has been redone with a new gel battery on a battery tender.I have put many new parts on the bike like, RFY shocks,Renthal grips,tires and tubes,clubman bars, parts unlimited levers, throttle,custom leather seat and a hand made rear set.

  • '71 Triumph Bonneville'71 Triumph Bonneville (1971)
         '71 Triumph Bonneville 650 with 13,600 original miles.  The motor has never been apart.  This not a ground-up restoration, but a good rider.  The paint and the exhaust are not original.  It has a Sparx electronic ignition, after-market coils, new turn indicators (repro),the clutch plates have been replaced, excellent tires, and the registration has just been paid (good until Nov. of 2014).  It doesn't leak oil and starts on the first kick.       It had a dent in the gas tank when I got it and when I parked it the side stand failed.  Now it has two dents in the gas tank (pictured).  Also, the center stand would rotate too far forward and barely hold the bike up.  Those two issues have been repaired by  Classic Cycles in the city of  Orange, Ca.      The bike runs great, sounds good, is fun to ride and, to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with it.       Buyer must arrange all shipping.  I will do what I can to help.  This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells elsewhere.

Triumph has unveiled a new product called the Tiger Sport. The motorcycle received an inline 1050cc “triple”, installed on the latest generation of Speed Triple, an electronic “throttle”, a multi-level traction control, cruise control, ABS and a slipper clutch. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.

According to the manufacturer, the engine control unit of some motorcycles may malfunction, due to which one of the fuel injectors will inject additional fuel into the engine cylinder. As a result, the engine will either not start or stall during operation due to excessive re-enrichment of the combustible mixture.

Triumph is set to reveal some new updates to its Tiger 800 including a number of different versions making it either more highway or more off-road oriented. The both the Tiger 800XC and the less adventure-worthy Tiger 800 will see two new variants, with the Tiger 800 likely being rebranded as the Tiger 800XR. A newly-published executive order from the California Air Resources Board reveals the names for four new Tiger 800 variants known as the XCA (likely standing for XC Adventure), XCX, XRT (or XR Touring) and XRX.
