British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.
