Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
Here we have a 1978 Triumph Bonneville Project. This bike I found sitting for some time. The frame and engine numbers match. Looks like someone had the bike apart at one point and mocked it back together as not to loose parts. The engine does kick over, but does not run, so I am listing this bike as a non running project, and will need a full restoration. There is a title for the bike that matches the VIN. I will now let my 38 picture slideshow I provided in the listing do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow. They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. Click on the view all tab at the bottom of the slideshow to see all the pictures. This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Bike comes with a title from the previous owner, that matches the bikes VIN. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all of the pictures, including the slideshow pictures, and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them. Thank you and happy bidding! The description of this motorcycle is written to the best of my knowledge. However, I am by no means an expert on vintage motorcycles. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more photos and, if possible, come and look in person before the auction ends. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If you have any questions, please contact me before the auction ends. This motorcycle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed, written or implied unless there is a warranty in effect from the factory. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. 2014 Triumph America Horizon Revealed in CARB Documentation
Mon, 18 Mar 2013New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal the existence of a new model from Triumph to be called the America Horizon for the 2014 model year. As its name implies, the 2014 Triumph America Horizon will likely be based on the existing Triumph America (the 2012 America is pictured above with touring accessories as an illustration.) The CARB documents confirm it will use the same 865cc parallel-Twin engine as the America as well as the Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton and the Speedmaster. We predict a claimed output of 60hp at 6800rpm and 53 ft-lb.
