This is a matching number bike.  I am the 2nd owner purchased in 1982 in Ann Arbour, Michigan.
Bike has been in storage for the past 20 years.  It runs well and everything works on it.
Have the original manual that came with bike.  I need to sell due to health reasons.

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. DiSalvo, Myers and Riedmann to Ride Triumph D675R for Daytona 200

Latus Motors Racing announced it will compete in the 2013 Daytona 200 with Jason DiSalvo, Elena Myers and Kenny Riedmann on the Triumph Daytona 675R. DiSalvo should be considered one of the favorites for the Daytona 200. DiSalvo won the 2011 edition of the race on a Ducati 848 for Latus, and nearly did it again in 2012, finishing second on a Triumph Daytona 675R sporting a special livery in tribute to Gary Nixon.

Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
