1970 Triumph T120R 650cc Dirt Tracker - Built by Bobby Van Meter “Custom Engineering” out of Bakersfield, CA. Pro Riders were Sid Payne, Rick Newby, Ron Toby, Ron Pierce, Paul Bostrom etc. This is Bobby’s “Winning Combination” from racing Triumphs in the AMA nationals for 40 years. Almost everything on the bike is BRAND NEW. Since being built, bike has been ridden only a few times to break in the motor and at Willow Springs earlier this month.
I am sure there is more done to the bike that I forgot. Bike was completely rebuilt from the ground up, each part has been matched together. Bike is fast and runs STRONG.If you have any other questions feel free to ask 727-735-2243. Bike is sold with a Bill-of-Sale only. Bike is sold AS-IS with no warranty or claims of any kind. This is a 40+ year old motorcycle, and you are responsible for having the bike inspected before purchase and or riding the bike. 2013 Triumph Trophy Fuel Tank Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 07 Jun 2013A recent recall announced for the 2013 Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE for a potential fuel leak has now expanded to the U.S. The recall, previously announced by Transport Canada, concerns a production error for the fuel tank of the affected units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may not properly adhere to each other, resulting in a potential fuel leak.

I happened across three of Ducati's top brass checking out the bikes on Triumph's stand, Left to right you have: Diego Sgorbati, Marketing Director, Gabriele del Torchio, CEO and Claudio Domenicali, the boss of Ducati Corse.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
