Triumph Bonneville description
This is a ready to ride Triumph bonneville bobber. Everyone loves this bike when I bring it out. Built with real parts, not cheap reproductions. Frame is a 1968 Bonneville and the title matches. The engine is numbered as a 1963 Bonneville. Stock tank, forks, headlight etc. Custom parts are the rigid hardtail, Wassell ribbed rear fender, Coker whitewall tire (great shape), solo seat, tt-pipes, 16" rim laced to the triumph rear hub, very presentable metallic paint with custom hand pinstriping, etc etc. The carbs are Amal monoblocs and are freshly rebuilt. Brand new battery. This bike starts first kick and is a great daily rider. It was completely freshened up around 2005 and has been sitting since 2011, I pulled it out of storage last month, cleaned out the fuel tank and carbs, but the new battery in and it fired up first kick. It is just a get on and go kind of bike.
There is some light surface rust here and there, like on the wheels and the cylinder also it has the typical Triumph drips mainly the back of the cylinder maybe the rocker boxes or pushrod tubes, the primary cover has a leak at the drain plug. The clutch springs feel like they are due for a replace as the bike works great until you really hammer down on the throttle then it will slip a little at high RPM. These are all very minor things that any rider can handle. I just ride it as-is with zero problems. I put approx 30 miles on it this weekend without a hiccup. High bidder to pay a $500 deposit via paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. The remaining balance is to be paid via cash, wire transfer or (approved by be) cashiers check BEFORE the bike is picked up. Shipping is to be arranged and paid for by the buyer. I can help load and suggest shippers if needed. I have shipped several bikes overseas. I would like the bike to be piked up within 14 days unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have any questions about condition that are not answerable by looking at pictures or seeing the video please ask. Pictures and video are part of the description. |

2015 Triumph Daytona 250 Spied
Fri, 29 Nov 2013Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.
