Suzuki RM description

Super Clean 1998 Suzuki RM 250 for sale. I bought this bike 5 years ago from the 1st owner who bought it brand new and parked it in his garage. Its only been trail ridden by me for the past 5 years.
Meticulously maintained, cleaned and detailed after every ride. Cylinder removed, cleaned and inspected every winter. Exhaust valve taken apart and cleaned also.

Runs awesome, needs nothing, completely ready to ride right down to a fresh oil change and clean air cleaner. Just fire it up and go rip.

Bike is stock, besides exhaust and jets and air cleaner.

Brand new FMF fatty pipe just installed. Re-jetted and tuned to perfection. New clutch installed, didn't need it, OEM clutch was still in spec, comes with the bike. Newer brake pads and rotors front and back.

Has the beefy 50mm conventional forks, awesome for off road riding. Hand guards, clamp-on grips, skid plate.

Forks rebuilt last year, new seals, bushings, Suzuki fork oil. Steering stem bearings re-greased and adjusted, brake fluid changed a few seasons ago.

Comes with lots of extra parts and Suzuki service owners manual.

The plastics have minor scratches from normal woods riding and the decals have a few flaws. Rear disc guard is cracked also. Rims are not perfect, a few dings, nothing bad, spokes are all tight and working good.

This is an awesome 2-stroke beast of a bike, VERY FAST! Not for beginners.

I don't want to ship the bike, I really think its better if you come look at it and then buy it and take it with you. I'm very confident you will like it, but its my policy to look at a bike in person before I buy it just in case, and I want my buyers to do the same.

I have the Title signed over to me by the 1st owner, never put it in my name because I didn't have a need to.

Any questions feel free to ask.

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
