Suzuki Reports Q3 2012-2013 Results

Suzuki‘s motorcycle operations posted more disappointing numbers in the company’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2012. The company reported sales of 600,000 motorcycles for the quarter, down 11% from the 674,000 units sold in the same period the year before.

2012 Isle of Man TT Kickoff Event Will Stream Live Tomorrow, April 18

The most spectacular, and perhaps dangerous, road race in the world is more than a month away — a painfully long wait for fans! — but the Isle of Man is ramping up activities for the 2012 Isle of Man TT with the official race kickoff event slated for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18, at Villa Marina in the Isle of Man’s capital, Douglas. Emile van Essen is from North Holland and, in a stroke of brilliance/lunacy, has replaced the original two-stroke three-cylinder of a 1976 Suzuki GT550 with a turbine. Sadly it does take a bit of time to get going, although any displeasure you might feel as a result would no doubt be offset by the joy of riding down the street emitting an ear-splitting howl, shattering glass and generally disturbing the peace.
