Suzuki Other description

Suzuki GT750 Custom built Cafe Style Awesome condition! This is a turn heads motorcycle. Very attractive. Wherever I go with her everybody got interested and wants to know more about the bike. According to the last owner, this bike has participated in the Quail Motorcycle Gathering Show in Monterrey California and won the 1st place in its category. Basically, I bought this incredible bike from a collector and he gave me the complete description of the guy who transformed the bike. I must confess that am only a collector of nice motorcycles and don't understand much about the technical details. So, below I am just summarizing all the details about this motorcycle from a text with a vehicle description I have in my hands. "What you are looking at is a Cafe/Drag bike "custom" based on a 1974 Suzuki GT750 LeMans. This Suzuki as you can see has been very highly modified with much attention paid to everything. The engine and transmission are stock GT750. It had just under 10,000 mile when was bought. The engine was completely checked out and serviced with engine compression at 145psi on all three carburetors. Cooling system was flushed and radiator refinished in silver. The oil injection system was also totally cleaned out and correctly set. This engine is proven solid with NO rattles and completely reliable. It starts instantly on and runs perfectly. There is over $1,500 spent on the paint job on this bike. All chrome job was done by Jim of Deters custom metal polishing. There is over $1,500 worth of chrome and polishing on this Suzuki. The handle bars are Italian. Seat is an Omar Street-Tracker fiberglass pan. Tires are in great condition. Rims are shouldered alloy and polished, front is an Akront and rear is a matching DID. Chain sprockets are excellent. The pipes are Mossett expansion chambers made in Yorba Linda, CA. The pipers are powder coated high temp satin black with silver powdered silencers. This bike sounds absolutely nasty with out being overly loud. Fenders are cut down GS1000 with a 50's style bobber, license plate bracket was custom fabricated and chromed. New fork seals installed and front forks vacuum petcock is rebuilt with all new parts and works as it should. The tachometer mounted with the red line at 12 o clock out of necessity. There is no speedo on the bike although the cable still intact but blocked off. Engine covers are the finned Cafe style and all new gaskets were used upon it motor. The chain guard is black plastic from a 1972 GT750. This is a very unique bike and very well thought out unlike some of the others you may find, all effort has been made to make it a striking looking and sounding machine and still maintain all of the reliability. This Suzuki drives very nicely with no bad habits and is as reliable as a claw hammer. If you require attention this bike will certainly do it, and I am sure that if you wanted to show the bike, that it would be appreciated as well. It is very well done!" The motorcycle is located in Los Angeles California, with cover and battery tender. Every week it's turned on to have the engine in good condition. Since I bought have ridden the bike less than 1000 miles. Thank you for seem my listing and if you have any question do not hesitate to contact me. Good Luck!

Suzuki Unveils New Bandit 650 Range

Sat, 08 Nov 2008

In our ongoing coverage of everything worth covering and talking about and beating to death that happened at EICMA, Suzuki unveiled a new Bandit 650 range in Milan earlier this week. Both the 650 and 650SA models received styling and practical updates that bring a new sharp and dynamic look to the 2009 middleweight class. With new edgy styling, the naked Bandit 650 is headlined by sleeker modern headlights, and newly styled mirrors that make it resemble an angry bunny rabbit.

‘Rides like a dream’

Although aftermarket grips and LED strips are both listed on the ad for this poor Suzuki, there’s no mention of the single disc conversion at the front of the bike. It’s a good job the seller is in no rush to sell. Surely this is the worst looking SV650 ever? You can see the original ad here.
