Suzuki Other tech info
Suzuki Other description
Very nice original RL250 that I am not sure of the year model. It is a 1974 or 1975 , you decide. It is all original and in great shape.I did add fresh gas a few months ago and rode it for a while and it rides / shifts / stops like you like it. The seat has some spots on it but the rest of the bike is in great shape for its age. It is in Birmingham Alabama and I will be glad to meet a shipper to pick it up after the sale. Cash or cashiers check work for me. I am only around the computer late so it it better to call me on my cell with any questions. Thanks HVB 205-365-098

MotoGP should return to Suzuka
Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

Tue, 08 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.
Suzuki Developing 1000cc Prototype – MotoGP Return in 2014 Still Possible
Fri, 03 Feb 2012The first MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit is complete, with Ducati, Honda and Yamaha‘s factory and satellite teams, as well as a handful of CRT entries, collecting data for the next stage of their race prototypes’ development. Absent from testing was Suzuki which announced last November it was leaving MotoGP racing. Suzuki cited the recession, the rising value of the Japanese yen and the natural disasters afflicting Japan in 2011 as reasons for leaving MotoGP, but the manufacturer did say it intended to return in 2014.
