Suzuki Other description

1974 Suzuki GT 380 that has been sitting for years in a garage that is heated I bought the bike off a friend that has had the bike in their family for over 30 years ,I waited along time to get the bike and paid dearly for the bike I have a another frame up restored gt 380 I have been restoring so I would have a brother and sister bike, thinking about listing that one also it is time to sell some bikes, out of space and time. I have not ever cranked the bike , always been working on something else, bike did run when parked years ago, I did have the carbs rebuilt with new rubbers and carb kits. This bike has always been stored inside and it is a very clean bike that is 40 some years old. The good clear title in hand-bike is well preserved for it age-love the rack and sissy bar-new carb rebuild-It is completely original and this bike came from a good home, someone is interested I have another one that I might sell as a set I have over twenty bikes I am working on. The bad -the bike needs a new battery-front brakes need to be gone over ,I believe they were  drained when parked . Bike has great compression but has not been run in years, that being said ,it is an old bike that has sat for years it will need to be gone through before being on the road, always looking for trade-in's half the fun is one coming in and one going out. For the bikes age it shows to have been taken care-the paint is not perfect is dose have some of the pin strip on the gas tank gone it is not clear. coated you could pin strip over it. exhaust on left side has had battery acid stains on the left . If this bike dose not sale I will ,and should keep this bike in the collection only selling the bike to fund the restoration of several H2 Kawasaki's. Good luck and any questions please call Shawn 423-956-3002

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
