2014 WSBK – Donington Results

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. WSBK: 2012 Miller Results

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Schwantz Rides Suzuki RGV500 2-Stroke At Goodwood

Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Grand Prix Champion, rode his iconic #34 Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend. Celebrating its 20 year, FoS, the world’s largest motoring garden party, held in West Sussex, U.K., brings together present and past dignitaries of both motorcycle and auto racing.
