Bautista: Brands Hatch: Suzuki GSV-R800

MOTOGP man Alvaro Bautista enjoyed a few laps of Brands Hatch at the weekend's British Superbike action, entertaining the crowds on Suzuki's GSV-R800 racer. Bautista was joined by former British Superbike Champion John Reynolds and BSB front-runner Tommy Hill, who also took a spin on the 240bhp machine. The dude in the background on the last image, riding a GSV-R, is Crescent Suzuki boss Paul Denning.

The GSX-S1000 street fighter, based on the 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000 K5 sportbike engine, and its faired F-version came out two years ago. This spectacular couple began the new year of 2017 with updates. The rider will certainly notice the presence of a new clutch with reverse slip, providing smoother downshifts!

The first video of a four-part series documenting Team Suzuki’s MotoGP development process for its return to MotoGP in 2015 featuring behind-the-scenes and on-track footage is now available for viewing. Further programs will be available here on January 4th, January 7th and January 10th.  Episode 1 The Suzuki MotoGP test program gets underway in March at Suzuki’s Development base in Ryuyo, Japan with behind-the-scenes footage, on-track action and an interview with Suzuki MotoGP test rider Nobu Aoki. Episode 2 The team moves to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan in April and May where MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet joins the team as test rider.
