Kevin Schwantz Visits Suzuki Headquarters Ahead of Suzuka 8-Hours

Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz recently visited Japan to take part in the official test for the 2014 Coca-Cola Zero Suzuka 8-Hours. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya

Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.

Roger Lee Hayden Headlining “Ride with the Stars” Track Day School at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Roger Lee Hayden and a number of current and former AMA racing stars will be guest instructors at a two-day riding clinic at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The National Guard Jordan Suzuki racer and the other special guests will join the instructors of the Penguin Roadracing School for the “Ride with the Stars” special track day, Oct. 13-14.
