Suzuki GSX-R description

 02 GSXR 1000 drag bike.

Lots has been done so I will try and cover it all.

Hot Bodies (Catalyst I do think) full race body with tail
Yosimhura slip on with removet of SET valve
all braided AN fuel lines and fittings
air shifter set up for CO2 (one bottle lasts 600+ shifts)
MPS auto shift box (or shift off the button)
Pingel strut
Pingel tether switch
Brand new (5 land speed passes) on Shinko 003 tires
Brand new Power Commander PC3
set up for dry nitrous (never used)
Brand new slicks, front and rear for drag racing. Bridgestone front, Mickey Thompson rear plus a slick with over half life left for the rear
Pingel wheelie bars
Dynatek 2 step ignition
Ivans TRE
6" swing arm extension
numerous extra sprockets

Bike runs great and pulls hard. Will run 5.80-90 in the 1/8th. I never drag raced it, I used it for land speed racing and simply dont have the time for this bike with everything else going on. I always used Amsoil motorcycle oil and like I said it runs great, no leaks or anything silly like that. As far as I know the motor is bone stock. I never built the bike so I dont know a ton about it

Bike will need a fuel pump, I think. Bike pulls great up through 3rd then it acts like it is out of fuel. I never messed with it, again see my statement about time. And the battery isnt great. Charging system is fine, just battery is old is all.

It is not mint, it has scratches, dents, dings, etc. It has been a race bike most of its life. It has a Maine repaired vehicle title from a accident some where in its life. Title is open and ready for transfer so no issues there.

Please disregaurd the AEM A/F ratio gauge in the pictures, that is borrowed and will be returned. Mount will stay.

Great chance to own alot of bike for cheap money. Buyer is responsable for shipping. I am willing to bring to a dock to load, and would even build a pallet or crate for it if the buyer pays for supplies.

Ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to find the answer for you, good luck!

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.

It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
