Suzuki GSX-R description

2004 GSX-R 750, runs great. Has LSL handlebars on it. Also have the original handlebars as well. Was knocked over in the parking lot and has some scratches on the right side where it hit a concrete step. A piece of plastic is cracked on the left side where it was backed into and the right side has a dent as well as a broken piece of plastic. Has never been down other than that. All stock other than handlebars. I am second owner. Will be stored in the next 2-3 weeks. Battery replaced this summer as well as master cylinder when handlebars were installed. Trying to buy and house and need the money for the down payment. Bike is listed locally so can end auction if it sells before the auction ends. $500 deposit due within 24hrs of auction ending. Remaining balance due at time of pickup. Can possibly deliver, depending on distance, for a fee. Needs to be picked up within 2 weeks of auction ending. Cash, Paypal for an extra 3% due to fee they charge.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
