Suzuki GS description

This is a 1982 Suzuki GS450TXZ. I think the Z means it has wire wheels instead of the cast wheels. I bought it new in 1984, it had been in the crate for two years. It has always been stored inside. It has under 1800 miles and has never been damaged except for the car door dings on the right side of the tank. The engine and transmission have never been taken apart. I have made repairs to the carburetors and the front brake. Last winter I cleaned it all up and painted the frame, the header pipes, and the spokes. It runs like new although it has always needed a little warmup when first started. The tires are original but they still look OK.

Suzuki Introduces Extremely Rare 2014 GSX-R1000 SE Limited Production

Sat, 17 Aug 2013

In honor of Suzuki’s 50th Anniversary in America, the company has introduced the exclusive, limited-production Suzuki GSX-R1000 SE – with a total of just 50 numbered motorcycles to be sold through Suzuki dealers in America, and only 100 produced worldwide. No internal modifications have been made to the GSX-R1000, but the visual changes are quite obvious. Bling is the name of the game, and this SE model adds singular style that is most evident in the polished and chrome-plated frame, plus the machined and polished chrome rims with clear-coated blue spokes.

GSX-R600 long-termer update

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.

Video: The nastiest Suzuki in the whole range

Tue, 05 Apr 2011

Before I take myself off to our local casualty department  to get these graunching rib bones checked out, I thought it might be a good idea to tell you why you must buy a 2011 RM85 Suzuki as soon as feasibly possible. Time is running out. Two-strokes are toast, right?
