Suzuki F50 CUTLASS description

ARRIVE IN STYLE ON THIS NEARLY PERFECT VINTAGE STEP THROUGH SCOOTER. THE F50 CUTLASS WAS DESIGNED TO COMPETE WITH THE HONDA CUB, THE MOST POPULAR SCOOTER EVER MADE. IT WAS IMPORTED TO US IN VERY LIMETED NUMBERS THIS BIKE IS A STELLAR EXAMPLE OF STYLE AND FUNCTION OF THAT ERA THIS BIKE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN STORED FOR MOST OF ITS 46 YEARS.I AM THE 2CND OWNER. BIKE RUNS AND DRIVES. 3 SPEED SEMI AUTO TRANSMISSION { NO CLUTCH ] DRUM BREAKS. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT. 320 MILES

MECHANICAL- EASY KICK START. BIKE RECENTLY SERVICED BY QUALIFIED MECHANIC CARB CLEANED AND ADJUSTED,TANK HAS BEEN CLEANED OF LIGHT RUST DUE TO EMPTY TANK DURING STORAGE. NEW FUEL FILTER AND GAS LINES. NEW PETCOCK. CURRENTLY NO BATTERYON BIKE. BATTERY ONLY NEEDED FOR LIGHTS WHEN NOT RUNNING. REAR SIGNALS NOT ORIGINAL AND NO YET WIRED IN.OIL RESEVOIR LEAKS WHEN FILLED OVER HALF WAY. IT CONSUMES LITLE OIL AND HAS NOT BEEN AN ISSUE. A REPLACEMENT CURRENTLY ON EBAY FOR $25.00. OIL IS AUTOMATICALLY MIXED WITH FUEL.

BODY-  ALL ORIGINAL BODY PARTS. ONE SMALL DENT ON REAR FENDER HAS BEEN TOUCHED UP. CRACK IN LEG SHIELD. MINOR CHIPS IN PAINT. SOME PAINT WEAR UNDER SEAT. LEATHER SEAT COVER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. SEAT FOAM IS DEGRADING DUE TO AGE AND THOUGH STILL VERY USABLE REPLACEMENT WOULD ADD TO APPEARANCE AND VALUE.

TIRES- NEW TUBES AND LINERS. REAR TIRE NEW. FRONT TIRE ORIGINAL. WHEN TUBES WERE REPLACED REAR TIRE WAS STRETCHED AND DUE TO STIFFNESS WOULD NOT HOLD SHAPE ON WHEEL. I ASSUME THIS MAY HAPPEN IF FRONT NEEDS NEW TUBE AT SOME POINT, SO NEW TIRE SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED
