I am auctioning a nice rider. Suzuki Volusia 800cc Vtwin cruiser. It has very low miles at 4,200 miles. It is a 2004 model and I am the third owner. Black with some storage scratches and a good scrape on the front fender left tip. New fenders are sixty bucks in black. The left side black plastic cover is cracked and there is a dent on the under side of the tank that can not be seen unless you are looking for it. The plastic cover is available on Ebay for under $20. The dent is so light, that the paint is not damaged. The sticker is still on the gas tank. It has good tires and runs and drives perfectly. Last of the carburetor models. The first owner bought the bike to learn to ride. Made it about 2,000 miles and dumped it. That is where the damage came from. It does not effect the operation of the bike. It has some crappy leather bags on it that I can throw away if you like. Chrome is good. Everything works. Payment in full due 5 days after purchase. Bike does not have to be picked up for 60 days or longer depending on contact. Please ask all questions before you bid. If you win I will expect you to pay. Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
