Anti lock brakes, cruise control throttle lock, cargo trunk, New Tires front and rear, New battery, just serviced for oil change, and tune up. Excellent condition, both in running and cosmetic. No accidents, clean title report just purchased thru Vincheck.com a $25 value. I have enjoyed this motorcycle for long trips from Maryland to New Jersey, comfortable and reliable, with plenty of power. Stable center or gravity, with brake lights installed in the "optional" cargo trunk for extra visibility. I've had my fun, however, I'm recently married, so I'm looking to sell and perhaps buy a small boat for fishing or a chicken coop. Suzuki Announces $4.2 Million Contingency for 2012
Thu, 08 Dec 2011American Suzuki is posting $4.2 million in race contingency for the 2012 U.S. road racing and motocross season. The contingency program is open to amateur and professional racers riding 2011 or 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600, GSX-R750 or GSX-R1000 sportbikes and RM85/85L, RM-Z250 or RM-Z450 motocross racers.
2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
