Royal Enfield BULLET C5 CLASSIC description

I am the original owner of this bike. I purchased it from the dealer in Houston, TX and rode it home to Austin. It has been kept in an enclosed garage since then, This is a gorgeous, retro-style motorcycle, reminiscent of the 1930's era Royal Enfield Bullet, the longest continuously produced motorcycle model in the world! Be prepared to have a lot of parking-lot discussions with strangers when you ride this bike - everyone wants to know if it is a restoration. The Royal Enfield half helmet seen in the photo comes with the bike! I only put 760 miles on this bike since I've had it. It is great fun to ride, but you can only expect a top speed of about 68 MPH. However, it gets great gas mileage - I got 74 MPG on my last trip. It would be a great urban commuter bike or "B-Road" cruiser. I've ridden a lot of the back roads around the Hill Country, and it is perfect for that. Very light and nimble, it handles well.
This bike is ready to ride - it needs a replacement battery, but is easily kick-started.
Why am I selling it? I am retiring soon, and I already own a BMW touring bike - don't need two bikes in the garage.

Features:
- EFI
- Electric AND kick start
- Electronic ignition
- Comes with replacement tire tubes, touch-up paint and other parts provided by Royal Enfield with the bike

Extras - I upgraded the Bullet with the following goodies:
- Vintage-style bullet turn signals front and rear
- After-market handgrips
- Bar-end mirrors
- Front fender number plate
- Rear fender rack
- Vintage-style tombstone rear brake light
- Mini wind screen
- Rear fender-mount pillion seat (not shown in photos, but included)
- Extra "comfort" solo seat (not shown in photos - I preferred the stock seat)
- Vintage-style gas cap
