Other SuperVee description

ATTENTION !!!!!! : EBAY requires a vehicle title type to be entered. This does NOT have a title. It never was titled and it needs to be run through the inspection process to gain a title. Do NOT go off what the title status says in the EBAY description.

Preferred payment will be by cash at pick-up. If you're paying by Pay-Pal YOU are responsible for any fees over and above the selling price.  I have no way to ship this but I will work with the winning bidder to get it to a LOCAL freight company if needed.

Mid 80's Nostalgia cycle SuperVee. This is a 1st generation bike and its believed that only 40 of these engines were sold and even a smaller number actually made it to the street. Its all small block Chevy internals so parts are easy to obtain. This bike was assembled and the original owner put 14 miles on it before he passed away. It then sat for almost 30 years.  There are none out there for sale. Take a look, I cant find a single first gen for sale anywhere. With that said its rare. Rare is only expensive if its desirable. Is it desirable? I suppose we'll find out with this auction.  The engine has the correct Serial number and its unmolested. The Santee frame also has its Santee ID stamped on the frame. I've put 4 miles on it just to say I've actually ridden one.

It runs very well except for that Super B carb which in my opinion needs to go away because it doesnt have an accelerator pump and with those long intake runners it will lean pop through the carb right off idle. It's all Shovelhead parts other than the frame, battery box, exhaust and obviously the motor. The rotary top trans and primary are late Shovel FLHS belt drive with a chain drive primary.

It sat for almost three decades in a barn and the chrome is rough. Paint is also scratched and old. This was never titled so I believe it would be an easy bike to title with the inspection process because it was sold as a kit. I have the original Nostalgia cycle magazine with the kit shown and a detailed write up. Do yourself a favor and take any bullshit comments somewhere else unless you own one. The internet is full of horror stories that simply aren't true. I've been building and riding Harleys for more than 30 years and I'm no rookie. It starts easy, there are almost zero vibrations. It's as smooth as glass down the road. The odometer shows 18 miles and is correct and functioning as is all the other lights, turn signals and horn. It has a new battery and fresh fluids through out. I left it intentionally crunchy looking to show just how long it has sat. The tires still have nipples on them and are dated from the late 80's. I can send a video of the bike running to serious buyers.

Now with all that said, it's not something I feel is a rider at this point. It needs to have the tires changed due to age. It need all the brakes looked at and probably change the hoses, again, due to age.  I am not expressing any warranty or guarantee on this bike whatsoever. If it doesn't sell I'll part it and hang the engine in the corner as a conversation piece.
