Other Other description

This is a Montesa 360 as far as I can tell. I am not sure of the model year because I do not know how to ID this bike (Please note: Ebay requires that you put a year in the ad so I selected 1977 but it could be a 77-79 model).

***** Please note: Frame #: 66M1592 / Engine #: 66M1592

This bike does not run and is missing parts so its being sold as a "parts bike" . I was told that they only imported about 500 of these into the US. Suprisingly you can still find parts for this bike. I will try to describe it to the best of my ability - the engine has low compression but turns over freely. I am sure the motor will require a total overhaul. I think its the wrong kick starter on the bike but it works. The rear shocks are missing (there is just a spare shock on it now so that it can be moved around), missing the rubber air box boot, missing the throttle assembly, one fork tube does have rust/pitting (see pic), it has the wrong rear fender, tank is really nice and the pipe is really nice as well but i is missing the silencer, tires are dry rotted. there is no carb or coil shown in the picture but I do have them and they will be bolted on to the bike before shipping. Also I thought thsi bike was missing the side covers but after some research they just used standard yellow plastic oval number plates which you can but on ebay. The bike is also missing the airfilter and airfilter cage. If you have any questions please feel free ask, I would be happy to answer them. All in all this would make a great spare parts bike if you already have one but it would also be a great restoration project.

SHIPPING:  costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I dont mind holding the bike for a while once it is paid for. I realize it takes time to make shipping arrangements and I want to make this a stress free experience for the buyer. I do have a pretty good list of shippers I would be happy to pass on to you .

PAYMENT: this auction requires a small non-refundable deposit with the balance due within 7 days of the auction ending (unless other arrangements were made between seller and buyer prior to purchasing). I will accept the balance of payment in the following ways-Bank transfer, cash in person, Bank of America cashiers check or USPS money orders.
