*** There was a guy who got out a jail and started attending a christian church in Austin, TEXAS. He was a biker who turned his life around and received lots of admiration by the Pastor. Eventually, this guy told the Pastor that he had a life long dream to start a custom Harley Bike Shop. The Pastor how was very impressed by this guys character. So the Pastor put up $9000.00 and the guy put in $9000.00 and started building his first bike as a show piece for the opening of the shop. He worked on it for a year. Toward the completion, he was short $4,000.00 for parts, until a fellow partitioner fronted him the $4K. So in parts alone....$22,000 invested not to mention a years worth of work.

This bike builder started I think it was "Austin Custom Cycles". The pastor was relocated to a church in Alamo, CA called Creekside something...church. I still have his contact info as back up. anyway....the builder opened his shop with a couple other builders. They had immediate success and the guy decided to send the Pastor the bike...shipped all the way from Texas as a gesture of gratitude, for helping him get his shop started.

Well, the pastor is a dirt bike rider with his sons but not really in to harley. He kept it in his garage from 2005 to 2007 which is when I found it on craigslist. He had it for sale on and off and told me lots a guys came to look at it each time he posted it but never had the cash (asking price $17,500.00)

Over time he slowly lowered to price. He would drive it to work and back over time just to make sure he kept it in shape V.S. letting it sit which we all know is not good. I don't think he had more than a few hundred miles on it.

He sold it to me for $14,000.00. Heres the general idea of what I've invested.

-Front Forks $3000.+ (installed-parts and labor)
-From here down, ARLEN NESS has done all the work, no o one else touched it !
-The existing front foot pegs flared out & rear foot pegs with a braced end for passenger safety and comfort purchased & installed/velocity stack on carb/exhaust pipe boot, shoe protection to avoid burned footwear $1100.00 machine gun style hand fabricated.
-New fuel tank valve and fuel filter (recent)/New kick stand/New brake pads $900.00
-Special fender reinforces with flat steel bars welded under fender and installed with custom fabricated supports from fender to frame and fabricated foot peg bars also welded to frame for extra strength.$3200.00
-Painted High gloss multi-layer painting of fender prior to installation $1200.00
-Oil and filter changer every 1000 miles. and tune-up's $600.00 (over the years)

Theres more but thats the main improvements. Once I had the bike, I was so busy building up my company, I rarely rode it because I was always on the phone and in the car I could better function because I would have my planner out etc... I purchase an unbelievable single bike trailer $3200.00 which folds and stands in the corner of my garage with 4 wheels to easily move it around. (we could negotiate including the trailer). I bring this up because I would load the bike on the trailer and take it to Lake Tahoe and take it her and there around sections of the lake. I did this only a hand full of times. This Harley has Straight pipes, Sounds Like Thunder. Must ride to appreciate !!!

New Battery $100.00

Bottom Line....Low Miles and Like new.
