Hi there, I am reluctantly selling my motto-scooter, it's called that because it's registered as a motorcycle and plated as such (NC motorcycle plates). I just paid for a safety test and renewed the registration till the end of 2017 but I just don't have any time for it any more and I'm buying a Harley soon so it's time to pass the torch. I really can't say enough about this bike but I'll try ;). This is long so I answer as many questions as possible without you having to ask :) I'm the second owner and it was bought brand new at a local Asheville dealer in 2009. It's a top of the line Eton Matrix R4 150cc motto-scooter. Everything is in immaculate shape and works perfectly. This bike has always been kept in a heated garage year round and services twice a year at the dealer since the very first mile by me and the original owner. I have all service records and receipts from every single thing on this bike including the original owners manual and tool kit neatly in a folder. Starts first time every single time, in the year and a half that I've owned it it has given me exactly zero problems. I even had the brakes replaced recently because I was planning on just keeping it forever for guests to use to cruise around Asheville or as a spare emergency vehicle but the girlfriend disagrees with me and is a dream and joy killer. This bike is showroom clean and runs perfectly, comes with two matching half helmets, a brand new full bike cover, Shad hard shell locking trunk box, full size windshield, all paperwork and service history and of course a clean and clear NC title in my name. I'm 5'11" 165 pounds and I have no problem on the highway doing 70-80 or up steep mountain roads, zero power loss uphill. This is not one of those dinky 49cc scooters you see holding up traffic all over Asheville going 25 in a 45, this is the bike you see fly by you uphill. It's unbelievably easy to ride with no clutch, just gas, front & rear brake. Horn, all signals and lights and gauges work perfectly. I even have two full sets of keys. Main ignition key, Shad trunk box key, and locking gas cap key. There is sooo much storage on this bike, the locking trunk holds a ton, and under the seat that locks through the ignition settings there is probably twice the trunk box worth of storage. I once brought home $100 worth of groceries on this bike and couldn't believe I fit it all myself lol. I really hate to sell it but I really want a Harley and the gf makes a good point that I'll never ride it again once I've got my hog so shoot me an email or text or call me and I'd be glad to answer any questions and schedule a time for you to come see it if you like. No free joyrides, you must hand me the $ to ride it and after you do if you don't want it and it's in the same condition as when you left with it I will gladly hand you back your $. I live by the VA hospital in east Asheville, North Carolina 28805 and I'm in a small quiet community perfect for a test ride. I'm asking $1,250 or best reasonable offer locally, and may end this auction early at any time if it sells. This bike has been babied like no other and driven regularly, it's worth every penny of what I'm asking if not more but I can't even start looking at Harley's till this one has a new home so I'm a motivated seller. I can promise you that if you buy this bike you will never regret it, this thing has served me so well and I have treated it like royalty. Tires are in great shape, brakes work perfect, everything is perfect. Here is the absolute best part though, insurance costs me $38 yr, it's $34 for the year for registration, sticker, taxes etc, and it costs $2.75 to fill the tank with premium gas (this bike has never EVER seen regular unleaded) and a full tank can last me 3 weeks driving all over Asheville every day!! Nothing compares to the cost savings of driving one of these. The beauty of the 150cc motto-scooter is you get the ease of operation from the scooter being automatic and the comfort and storage vs a motorcycle, but you get the power of a motorcycle unlike a regular scooter. This bike is stock except the $250 windshield and $150 locking hard trunk. A neighbor of mine down the road has the same one in blue and had some stuff done to it and it goes 140 mph now lol, I never wanted to go any faster than 80 on any bike of any kind lol usually 35-45 is my pace so I declined his offer to make mine the same so mine only goes 80MPH haha as if that's not enough, it's not even legal to drive 80 anywhere in NC. Anyway I want it gone so I can move on to my Harley, so let's make a deal! This bike only has 3000 miles on it and has been professionally serviced and babied it's whole life! I accept cash, or for whatever the fee is on top of the price of the auction close price I will accept paypal, and any major credit cards through "Square" including Discover card & American Express (3.25% Credit card fee added)!!! Please feel free to ask me as many questions as you like before bidding, and please please don't bid if you do not have the money to pay for it. I can hold the bike for a week for the winning buyer after a week there will be storage fee's, just Google (East Asheville, NC. VA hospital) that is where we will be meeting for pickup, no exceptions or delivery sorry. You will not find a better scooter than this one, in 3 years I've only seen one other one in Asheville and the guy said the same thing, they are amazing and fast! Every other scooter rider envy's this machine! New this cost $3,500 Blue book puts it at $2,250 I'm asking $1,250 or best offer locally $900 starts this auction, there is no reserve!!!!!!!!! |
