Other Cyclemaster description

1954 British Robin Hood Cyclemaster
2 stroke 25cc

This is an older Cyclemaster example based on a British Robin Hood bicycle fitted with the original 25cc Magic Wheel Cyclemaster motor-wheel.  The Cyclemaster motor-wheel is a unique and very nice looking solution to motorizing a bicycle.  The engine mounts within the rear wheel hub together with fuel tank and exhaust.  Engagement and throttle are controlled with handlebar controls.

This example was imported from England several years ago in running condition.  It's history prior to that point is not well known, but the bike was reasonably cared for.  Considering its age, the bike was in good condition prior to disassembly.  Currently, the bike is either lose parts (frame, wheels, etc.) or in boxes (smaller parts, engine (mostly assembled).  The bike requires complete assembly and set up before it could be ridden.  Since being in my possession, it has been in a climate controlled environment.  Many of the parts do show signs of non-structural corrosion and plating pitting.  The bike is very restorable and would result in a outstanding classic Cyclemaster bike example, if restored to its full capability.
All parts appear to be original.  The bike uses rod operated rim brakes both front and rear.

The photos prior to the Cyclemaster advertisement are from when the bike was together and those after the ad upon disassembly.  The engine is mounted to a homemade engine bench stand.

Do an internet search for "Cyclemaster" and you'll find lots of information and photos about the "Magic Wheel".

Local pick up recommended.  If shipping is desired, the parts will need to be packaged and most likely shipped in multiple packages.  I can assist with this, but would charge a handling fee and actual shipping costs.  These costs would be calculated post the auction and the auction winner would be responsible for all expenses agreeing up front that they are a cost of purchase.  If you are bidding and think you would request shipment of the bike please contact me prior to end of the auction to discuss the details.

This is an old bike that has been disassembled and in storage for several years -  no warranty is offered or implied - no returns.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is due, via PayPal, at the end of the auction.  The balance, in cash, is due at pick up.

Note: This a vintage bike, has no title and the exact mileage is unknown.

Please message with any questions.  Additional photos are available upon request.
