Rare & hard to find Ariel VG 500 Deluxe In beautiful condition ! 
Checking the Frame serial Number on Ariel pages it turns out to be a 1937 Model . 
Frame nr :XG 7964
ENGINE : CE 2189 

The VG 500 was designed by Val Page Same Guy that designed the Brough Superior .Very few VG 500 In this condition left 

I guess it was not restored and stocked  for at  least 20 30 years , looks like original chrome on tank & exhaust , looks like it was repainted many years ago . 
I was just cleaning the carburetor , washing the inside of the tank , added new oil , and the bike started at the first kick .
 The bike is missing the rear stop lamp , an inspection nut , and some rubber parts . The carburetor is an newer Amal model attached in time .
The motorcycle Starts , runs nice for a 70 + year old bike , probable would be Good To have a complete look Inside the engine before taking it for long rides , but the bike has no replica parts it is an all original unit . 
For sale as a Barn-find & For Restoration . No paperwork .
