Up for Sale is a 1973 Norton 750 commando. Was sitting in a Shed since 2003. Does not run, but has tons of compression. Front brake needs to be rebuilt, rear works as it should. Clutch feels great, shifts through the gears. No signs of it being down. Overall has light surface rust. Heaviest rust/pitting is the front forks and fork ears. Gas Tank has no dents. Front fender has a small ding. Rear has no dings. Looks to have newer style avon tires. Looks to be complete. Clear title. 28,903 miles. There is no frame Tag. 2 fins broken on the head( see picture). Engine # 210699. Needs a mild restore. Everything is solid. No rot. Inside of tank looks to have been lined. . Norton Signs Cameron Donald to Race Isle of Man TT

Norton Motorcycles has signed two-time TT winner Cameron Donald to a three-year contract to race in the Isle of Man TT. Donald will ride the Norton SG3 sportbike in the Dainese Superbike and PokerStars Senior TT classes, starting both races seeded 19th. That matches the number of the late Steve Hislop, the last Norton rider to win on the Isle of Man with a victory in the 1992 Senior TT race.

WITH BIKES LAPPING at 18 seconds off times posted by the AMA Superbikes, competitors in the inaugural TTXGP North America series still enjoyed a good old scrap at Infineon Raceway, California. An eclectic mix of bikes lined up for the start of the 2010 TTXGP series; a modified 1966 Norton and a 2010 Mavizen TTX02 Superbike were just two of the machines that took part in the race. US rider Shawn Higbee took victory in the event, riding for team Zero Agni.

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
