Moto Guzzi V7 Racer description

For auction, my 2013 V7 Racer. I haven't had it long, but managed to buy the bike of my dreams so it has to go. I love the look, to my mind the best looking production bike since the 916 and that's what got me thinking about it in the first place. After riding a stock one, I wasn't impressed, but then I saw this one listed locally that had a completely reworked suspension and exhaust system, and most importantly, the ECU programming had been reworked to suit the new exhaust by Todd Eagan at Guzzitech. The front brake had also been upgraded.

Riding this is completely different from stock, what was from the factory a styling exercise with cheap components is now a serious road bike that turns heads in all the good ways.

Improvements:
Zard exhaust with headers
remap to new exhaust
Mupo completely adjustable rear shocks
Matris fork springs/valves/caps
Brembo RCS front master cylinder with Brembo lever
oil sump extension
Stone and original seats

State of maintenance:
Just tuned up, full service with valve check
new Michelin Pilot Activ with less than 2K on them

You can check out this start up video:

Comes with all original equipment, Munroe Motors quoted me $269 including labor to put the bike back to complete stock form. But it's way better the way it is now, IMHO. Go out and ride a stock version then ride mine. I think you'll agree. And it's completely ready to ride for 6,000 miles.

$500 PayPal deposit due withing 48 hours, full payment within 7 days.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will assist in any way I can.  Individual test drives are fine, I'll need purchase price, an M1 license and proper gear for a test ride.

EICMA 2013: Moto Guzzi V7 Series Updates

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Not to be left out of the 2013 EICMA show announcements, Moto Guzzi has announced its changes for the three models that make up the V7 line. Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.
